Fortress Safe Gun Safes

Fortress Safe is recalling more than 60,000 biometric gun safes following the death of one individual, due to a programming feature that "can allow unauthorized access to the safes,” according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. The defect can allow unauthorized users, including children, to access the safe and remove hazardous or dangerous contents.

Insignia Pressure Cookers

Best Buy has announced a recall of Insignia pressure cookers due to a burn hazard caused by incorrect measurement markings on the inside of the pot. Because of the defect, users can overfill the container, and hot contents can subsequently be ejected from it.

Thomas the Tank Engine Toys

Fisher-Price has recalled more than 20,000 Thomas & Friends toys due to a choking and magnet ingestion hazard. The high-powered magnets that connect the toys have been reported to come loose.
