The following product recalls have been announced this week—make sure you’re in the know.
Fortress Safe Gun Safes
Fortress Safe is recalling more than 60,000 biometric gun safes following the death of one individual, due to a programming feature that "can allow unauthorized access to the safes,” according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. The defect can allow unauthorized users, including children, to access the safe and remove hazardous or dangerous contents.
Insignia Pressure Cookers
Best Buy has announced a recall of Insignia pressure cookers due to a burn hazard caused by incorrect measurement markings on the inside of the pot. Because of the defect, users can overfill the container, and hot contents can subsequently be ejected from it.
