Biography Overview
Raquel grew up in Washington state and served eight years with the US Army Reserves and Hawaii National Guard, deploying twice for Operation Iraqi Freedom.
She obtained her bachelor's degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa before going to law school at Thomas M. Cooley Law in Lansing, MI, where she graduated cum laude.
After working briefly as an associate attorney focused on immigration, Raquel went on to serve as a state public defender in New Mexico for two years and a federal public defender in South Texas for three years, handling 25 jury trials.
For the past 5 years, Raquel has been a personal injury attorney who has dedicated her career to protecting auto accident victims across Michigan and successfully recovered millions of dollars for her clients.
