Meet Raquel A. Muñoz
Raquel grew up in Washington state and served eight years with the US Army Reserves and Hawaii National Guard, deploying twice for Operation Iraqi Freedom.
She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa before attending Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, MI, where she graduated cum laude.
Raquel began her legal career as an attorney focusing on immigration, then went on to serve as a state public defender in New Mexico for two years and a federal public defender in South Texas for three years, collectively handling over 25 jury trials at the state and federal levels.
Since 2019, Raquel has dedicated her practice to personal injury law, protecting auto accident victims across Michigan and successfully securing millions of dollars in recoveries for her clients. She is fluent in Spanish and represents all of Morgan & Morgan's Spanish-speaking clients in Michigan, bridging the language gap so they receive clear communication, strong advocacy, and the justice they deserve.
In addition, Raquel represents medical providers who have been unjustly denied payments by auto insurance companies, fighting to ensure they are fairly compensated for the treatment they provide to injured patients.
