Biography Overview
Mr. Hur is an experienced attorney with a demonstrated history in civil and commercial litigation in trial and appellate courts. His current practice focuses on personal injury, insurance claims, commercial litigation and general liability. Other notable practice areas include labor and employment, risk assessment and compliance.
Mr. Hur is a strong legal profession with bench and jury trial experience and extensive practice in all facets of discovery, deposition and motions. His well-rounded experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants provides a unique perspective and skill set during all stages of litigation, dispute resolution, risk management assessment and counseling.
Prior to working at Morgan & Morgan, Mr. Hur worked for a boutique civil litigation firm, at a car appraisal company as in-house counsel, the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the United States Office of Special Counsel and the District of Columbia Office of Administrative Hearings.
Prior to law school, Mr. Hur worked for both Representative Robert C. "Bobby" Scott from Virginia and John Sarbanes from Maryland in the United States Congress. Mr. Hur attended The George Washington University Law School, where he earned his law degree in 2014. He graduated from Marymount University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics.
