Biography Overview
Eddie Talley, a Birmingham native, is an associate attorney in our Birmingham, Alabama office, focusing his practice on personal injury litigation. He received his undergraduate education from Auburn University and his Juris Doctor degree from Thomas Goode Jones School of Law. While attending law school, he participated in a host of different programs and traveled across the country, trying cases in various jurisdictions on the trial team. He was also selected as a scholar to attend the Moral Foundations of Law Summit at Princeton University.
Eddie began his legal career as a prosecutor for the State of Alabama, where he fought zealously for victims of crime. He tried cases ranging from misdemeanors to capital murder. He also used his position as a prosecutor to implement change. He emphasized the use of prosecution-deferred and alternative court programs to give non-violent offenders a second chance at life.
After serving the community as a prosecutor, Eddie decided it was time to blaze his own path, and in 2021, he opened his law practice. Over the course of his practice, he represented clients in a wide array of matters, including personal injury, criminal defense, and business formation. He also served as a mediator for clients who wanted to resolve their cases without major court involvement. Additionally, he worked as a counsel at a reputable law firm where he handled medical malpractice liability, insurance defense, and premises liability.
Eddie brings a wealth of knowledge and experience as he continues his fight for justice as a personal injury attorney with Morgan & Morgan, working to get his clients the maximum compensation they deserve. Service to others is what brings Eddie the most joy and fuels his passion for helping the individuals he represents.
Outside of his legal practice, Eddie enjoys attending Auburn football games, traveling, golfing, and spending time with his lovely wife and daughter.
