Bret C. Gainsford's legal journey is deeply rooted in his South Florida upbringing. Following his legal education, Mr. Gainsford returned to his Florida roots and commenced his legal career at a prominent national defense firm. During this tenure, his practice primarily centered on products liability and e-discovery, honing his skills in complex legal matters and litigation strategies.
However, in a pivotal shift in 2010, Mr. Gainsford transitioned his focus to advocating for individuals and families affected by asbestos-containing products. This marked a significant turning point as he began representing plaintiffs in claims that he once defended, showcasing his dedication to seeking justice and righting wrongs. Today, Mr. Gainsford holds the esteemed position of Of Counsel to the Firm, where he leads the Asbestos and Mesothelioma practice group with expertise and compassion.
