Amerifit claims that Culturelle supports the immune system and boosts overall digestive health by helping with gas, bloating, and occasional diarrhea, and by restoring the "natural balance" of bacteria in the digestive tract. The company also claims that these products can promote healthy intestinal flora and help replenish good bacteria in patients taking antibiotics.

If Culturelle is not working as advertised, consumers who purchased any of these products may be able to participate in a class action lawsuit, in which are large number of consumers would collectively file a claimin court to seek recovery for the cost of their probiotic supplement.
