The following product recalls have been announced this week—make sure you’re in the know.

Kia Niro, Niro EV, and Niro Plug-in Hybrid Vehicles

Kia is recalling more than 80,000 of its Niro vehicles over an issue that could prevent their seat belts and airbags from functioning properly. Frequent adjustments to the front passenger seat may damage wiring beneath the seat that controls features such as the airbag and seat belts. This could prevent airbags from properly deploying during a crash, deploying unexpectedly, or not switching off for small passengers.

Phenylephrine Hydrochloride

Provepharm, Inc., is recalling its phenylephrine hydrochloride, an injectable blood pressure drug, after a customer noticed "a visible black particulate matter" in a vial of the product. This can raise the risk of stroke or death.

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream

First Aid Beauty has announced the recall of 2,756 jars of its Ultra Repair Cream in the coconut vanilla scent, as the product was shipped to retailers in error and was not intended for market sale.

Honda Acura MDX Type-S, 2023-2025 Honda Pilot, and 2021-2025 Acura TLX Type-S Vehicles

Honda is recalling the 2022-2025 Acura MDX Type-S, 2023-2025 Honda Pilot, and 2021-2025 Acura TLX Type-S vehicles due to a software error in the fuel injection electronic control unit that may cause the engine to stall or lose power. Due to improper programming of the fuel injection electronic control unit, sudden changes in the throttle could illuminate the check engine light and cause the engine to lose drive power, hesitate and/or stall, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
