The following product recalls have been announced this week—make sure you’re in the know.
Tesla Model 3, S, X, and Y
Tesla is recalling more than 240,000 vehicles because of a rearview visibility issue.
A computer circuit board on certain Model 3, S, X, and Y vehicles may short, resulting in the loss of the rearview camera image and reducing the driver's rear view and raising the risk of a crash.
The recall affects the following Tesla vehicles:
- 2024-2025 Model 3, Model S
- 2023-2025 Model X
- 2023-2025 Model Y vehicles.
AMIKA Mirrorball High Shine + Protect Antioxidant Shampoo
AMIKA is recalling its popular Mirrorball High Shine + Protect Antioxidant Shampoo due to contamination. Reports cited a change in odor and temporary irritation.
Philips Mobile Cardiac Outpatient Telemetry (MCOT)
Philips is recalling the software associated with its Mobile Cardiac Outpatient Telemetry (MCOT) devices after certain high-risk electrocardiogram (ECG) events were never routed to trained cardiology technicians as intended. This issue, which lasted from July 2022 to July 2024, has been associated with 109 patient injuries and two patient deaths. Some of the health events included suspected cases of atrial fibrillation or pause, supraventricular tachycardia, ventricular tachycardia, and second- or third-degree atrioventricular block.
Vornado Air VH2 Whole Room Heaters
Vornado Air has recalled its VH2 Whole Room Heaters due to electric shock and fire hazards. The power cord can partially detach from the heater enclosure which can lead to cord damage over time.
WorkPro® Momentum Office Chairs
Veyer is recalling its WorkPro Office Chairs due to a fall hazard. The bolts that connect the back of the chair to its base can fail.
Samurai Mini Smoke Alarms
Three61 has recalled its Samurai Mini Smoke Alarms due to a failure to alert consumers to a fire. The smoke alarms can malfunction and fail to alert consumers of a fire, posing a risk of smoke inhalation or death.
2024-2025 Ranger XD 1500 and Crew XD 1500 ROVs
Polaris Industries has recalled the 2024–2025 Ranger XD 1500s and Crew XD 1500 Recreational Off-Road Vehicles (ROVs) due to injury and crash hazards. The door handle can stick and cause the door to unexpectedly open while the vehicle is moving, potentially causing an unrestrained rider to be ejected from the vehicle or increasing the risk of a crash.
HallyBee Farmhouse 5 Drawer Dressers
HallyBee has recalled its Farmhouse Dressers due to tip-over and entrapment hazards. The recalled dressers are unstable if they are not anchored to the wall.
Lexmark MS725dvn and MX725adve Specialty Printers
Lexmark International has recalled its MS725dvn and MX725adve Specialty Printers due to a fire hazard. A metal part inside the printer can dislodge, and start a fire.
