The following product recalls have been announced this week—make sure you’re in the know.

 

Tesla 2023 Model 3 and Model Y Vehicles

Tesla is recalling more than 376,000 of the 2023 Model 3 and Model Y vehicles because of a possible loss of power steering that requires greater effort from the driver to steer, increasing the risk of a crash. In vehicles equipped with electronic power-assisted steering (EPAS), an "overvoltage breakdown" will overstress motor drive components on the printed circuit board.

 

2020–2021 Ford Explorer and Lincoln Aviator Vehicles

Ford Motor Company is recalling 240,510 of the 2020–2021 Ford Explorer and Lincoln Aviator SUVs due to a risk of injury. The vehicles may have seatbelt anchor bolts that were not properly secured during assembly.

 

Lyons ReadyCare and Sysco Imperial Frozen Supplemental Shakes

Prairie Farms is recalling all 4 oz. packs of Lyons ReadyCare and Sysco Imperial Frozen Supplemental Shakes due to a listeria contamination. 38 people have been reportedly affected, with 12 deaths and several hospitalizations.

 

2021-2023 Kia Seltos and 2021–2023 Kia Soul

Kia is recalling more than 137,000 of its  2021-2023 Seltos and 2021–2023 Soul vehicles due to a potential issue that can damage the vehicle's engine. The piston oil rings may have been manufactured incorrectly, which can result in engine failure.

 

2021–2025 Toyota Sienna Minivans

Toyota has issued a recall for 167,802 of its 2021–2025 Sienna minivans due to a risk of injury. The third-row seats may not have been installed properly, which could be dangerous in an accident, as it might keep the seats from performing as designed.
