The Week in Recalls: September 27th

The following product recalls have been announced this week—make sure you’re in the know.

2022–2024 Ford Maverick Trucks

Ford is recalling all 2022–2024 Maverick trucks due to a risk of crash. An issue with the Connected Touch Radios (CTR) may cause the rearview camera to freeze while the vehicle is in reverse.

2023–2024 General Motors Trucks and SUVs

General Motors has recalled over 450,000 trucks and SUVs due to a risk of crash over faulty braking systems. The electronic Brake Control Module (eBCM) software on certain 2023 and 2024 model-year vehicles could result in extremely dangerous driving situations. The software also may not report when brake fluid levels are low.

2024 Harley-Davidson Motorcycles

Harley-Davidson has recalled 41,637 motorcycles due to a potential short-circuiting issue. The voltage regulator output wire can potentially rub on the front corner of the crankcase, exposing the wire and causing an electrical short circuit.
