For Susan and her husband, retirement was supposed to be a time of relaxation, travel, and 

enjoying their golden years together. But one fateful day, their lives took a sudden and terrifying turn when they were involved in a head-on collision that left them shaken and unsure of what to do next. The crash was severe, destroying the front end of their truck and leaving Susan in shock. Although she wasn’t visibly bleeding, she knew something wasn’t right.

“I was just dazed and confused. We had just been in a head-on collision. The front end of the truck was destroyed. I wasn’t bleeding, but I wasn’t okay,” she recalls.

Like many people who find themselves in such a situation, Susan didn’t know where to turn. Her mind was flooded with questions: What should we do next? How do we deal with the insurance companies? “We’re starting to get back to our normal lives and enjoy it again.”
