Morgan & Morgan Announces Our First Annual 'For The People Scholarship' - A gathering of individuals holding a sign that reads "volunteer."

We're proud to announce the first For The People scholarship! We'll be awarding $2,000 for education expenses to a first year law student who has worked to make his or her community a better place.

Morgan & Morgan attorneys and employees are actively involved in the 33 cities that house our offices. John Morgan places a big emphasis on giving back, and has built the firm to reflect his values of charity and public service. Many of our firm's partners holds at least one leadership position in a charitable organization.

We would like to inspire these values of charity and public service beyond our firm, and encourage aspiring lawyers to approach their careers as our attorneys already do.

Students who take their civic responsibility very seriously and have gone above and beyond for their community are encouraged to apply for the scholarship.

The student who submits the best essay will win the $2,000 award. The essay should answer three questions: What have they done to positively impact their community? How did that work shape who they are today? How will it affect who they want to be as a lawyer?

Applications must be received by Dec. 1, 2016. The winner of the scholarship will be announced at the end of December.
