Crane Drops Load, Injuring Two Workers in Florida
Two workers were injured when a roofing assembly fell from a crane, pinning them to the ground and putting one of them on trauma alert, Space Coast Daily reported. The incident happened on Nov. 23 in Viera, Florida. According to Brevard County Fire Rescue, the accident occurred at a hotel under construction on Metfield Drive. When BCFR crews arrived, several workers were attempting to free the trapped laborers. The worker who was put on trauma alert was airlifted to a local hospital. There was no information available about the condition of the other victim.
