Biography Overview
Stephen Knox was born in St. Petersburg Florida in 1961. He graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Finance before attending the University of Florida College of Law and graduating in 1986 with a Juris Doctor degree. For the past 28 years, Mr. Knox has been litigating, settling and trying Medical Malpractice cases throughout the State of Florida.
Mr. Knox has been rated as an ”A” lawyer by his peers through Martindale Hubbell as well as recognized as having the highest ethical standards. Due to his standing among his fellow attorneys, he has been listed in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. The Florida Bar has recognized Mr. Knox as a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer and he is a member of the Florida Justice Association.
As a practicing Florida lawyer, Mr. Knox has had the privilege of obtaining multiple million and multimillion dollar trial verdicts for his clients over the last 28 years. One of his early medical malpractice trial verdicts was the first million dollar verdict in the history of Morgan & Morgan. He practices throughout Florida and he has had jury trials in Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Polk, Marion, Lake, Brevard, Volusia, Pasco, Manatee, Sarasota, Martin and Leon Counties. His experience in the courtroom is well known to insurance companies and he is regularly successful in settling cases without the need for trial.
Mr. Knox lives in Central Florida with his wife of 25 years and his 3 children.
