Attorney Sam Dunaway was born in Anderson, South Carolina and attended Clemson University for his undergraduate education. Upon receiving his degree, he moved to Orlando to attend Barry Law School.

Mr. Dunaway has spent his entire legal career litigating and trying injury cases. Directly after law school, he worked at a prominent Florida medical malpractice defense specializing in defending doctors and hospitals in their medical malpractice lawsuits. After over a decade of working for large medical malpractice defense and personal injury firms, Mr. Dunaway started and successfully ran his own solo practice in Orlando, representing clients who suffered injuries due to medical malpractice as well as automobile accidents and wrongful death cases.

Mr. Dunaway now joins Morgan and Morgan utilizing his prior experience to skillfully and compassionately represent clients who have been injured as a result of a medical malpractice and puts his medical knowledge and expertise to use in bring justice to those who have been injured as a result of negligent medical care.

Mr. Dunaway was selected by the National Trial Lawyers as a Top 40 under 40 and Top 100 attorney. Additionally, he has received AV Preeminent Ratings by Martindale Hubbell being recognized as a lawyer with the highest level of professional experience.

Mr. Dunaway is a member of The Florida Bar and the Orange County Bar Association. He is licensed to practice law in both Florida and Georgia. He is also admitted in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

His personal philosophy of advocacy for those in need has made its mark on Central Florida, where he supports numerous non-profit organizations committed to helping persons with disabilities, improving education, and advancing community causes. He is married to his wife, Jenna, and has three children who keep him busy between high school football, baseball, and competitive swimming.
