Biography Overview
Raissa Booze is a personal injury attorney based in our Ocala office. Her practice focuses primarily on premises liability, slip/trips and falls, and animal attacks in Marion and Lake Counties. She is licensed to practice law in both Florida and New York.
Ms. Booze graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a major in Business Marketing and a Minor in Philosophy. While at CU, Ms. Booze worked part-time and served as Director of Philanthropy and VP of Chapter Operations for her sorority, Alpha Phi.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Booze worked for the Colorado Attorney General’s Office in their Consumer Protection Department. She then worked directly for the owner of a group of mortgage, title, and marketing companies in various positions. Ms. Booze graduated from Wake Forest School of Law in 2009. While there she served on several committees including the Dean Search Committee, was President of Women in Law, and was Vice President of Trial Bar. Ms. Booze tried her first case while a student.
Upon graduating from Wake Forest Ms. Booze moved to New York City. There she had a fellowship with Legal Aid where she second chaired three trials. She then worked full time in doing document and privilege review for several large corporate firms while also interning at a personal injury firm in Manhattan. Ms. Booze was then offered a position with a trial firm specializing in personal injury and civil rights false arrest cases. There she gained significant experience both in and outside the courtroom while working for two talented trial attorneys. Ms. Booze then joined a Bronx-based firm where she gained more hands-on experience spending almost every day in the courtroom and/or handling depositions.
In 2016 Ms. Booze and her family moved from New York to Florida. After passing the Florida bar exam, she began practicing with a large personal injury firm in central Florida. There she worked for several years handling car accidents, slips/trips and falls, dog bites, and other personal injury cases.
Ms. Booze is now a proud member of the Morgan and Morgan team. She enjoys working with her clients to help them navigate the ins and outs of their cases and fighting for their best outcome.
