Biography Overview
Moshe Shemtov, Esq., is an Associate Attorney with a deep commitment to representing truth in the legal field. With two years of experience in personal injury law and a valuable clerkship under the Hon. Judge Leon Ruchelsman, of the New York State Supreme Court, Moshe brings a unique perspective to his practice.
Moshe graduated summa cum laude from Excelsior University and earned his law degree, cum laude, from Pepperdine University School of Law. He also holds a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from the Strauss Institute for Dispute Resolution, which is ranked #1 in the country by U.S. News & World Report. Moshe also proudly served as the Business Editor for the “Journal of Business, Entrepreneurship, and the Law.” He also received multiple CALI awards in Law School, including a Mediation and Corporations award, recognizing his excellence in legal studies.
Moshe is a member of CAALA (Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles) and proudly affiliated with the Iranian American Bar Association (IABA). He is driven by a keen sense of duty to help those in need.
Moshe’s proudest legal achievements include securing significant settlements, such as a $1.5 million auto vs. auto settlement. His commitment to providing legal representation to those who lack the means is a testament to his dedication to justice.
In his professional philosophy, Moshe passionately believes that every client deserves to be heard and that justice is a fundamental right. He is inspired by his two-year experience as an elementary school teacher, which led him to choose a legal career to help his community and those in need.
Beyond the legal realm, Moshe enjoys skateboarding with his dog, surfing, and backpacking. He has traveled to over 25 different countries and counting. He is an active member of his local community and engages in pro bono work to give back.
