Biography Overview
Michael Hammond is originally from Statham, Georgia and now resides in the Atlanta area. He studied Social Science Education at the University of Georgia prior to attending law school. After graduating from the University of Georgia he worked as a high school teacher and basketball coach. Michael also worked in marketing for a private university. He decided to begin a legal career as an attorney because he wanted to help injured people in need of legal assistance and graduated from Emory Law School. Since graduating, he has focused on workers’ compensation. He strives to help his clients navigate the legal system and achieve the maximum recovery.
Michael previously handled workers’ compensation cases for a defense firm and understands how to deal with difficult insurance companies. He has also worked as a mediator helping injured workers resolve their disputes.
Outside of work, Michael is an avid sports fan. He is a huge fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves. Most of all, Michael enjoys being with his wife and children during his time away from the job.
