Biography Overview
Michael Findlay is an attorney in Morgan & Morgan’s Business Trial Group, where he handles complex commercial litigation on a contingency fee basis, to make justice accessible in disputes where financial resources might otherwise be a barrier. Michael’s practice spans a wide range of business disputes, including breach of contract, construction defect, and a variety of types of professional malpractice. He is dedicated to securing favorable outcomes for his clients in challenging cases.
Michael earned his J.D. with a concentration in Business Law from Stetson University College of Law and graduated from the University of Florida with a Master’s in International Business and a Bachelor’s in Political Science, along with minors in Business and Spanish. While at Stetson, Michael was actively involved in leadership and academic roles.
Before joining Morgan & Morgan’s Business Trial Group, Michael interned with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Enforcement, where he investigated violations of federal regulations, including insider trading, real estate fraud, and misrepresentation, and supported litigation in similar matters. Michael has also supported impact litigation initiatives in the digital asset industry and served as a legal intern with an emerging technology startup. These diverse experiences have shaped his approach to advising clients. Michael is well-positioned to offer clients effective and practical legal strategies in high-stakes business litigation.
