Biography Overview
After being born and raised in Waynesboro, GA, Seth obtained his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from University of Georgia in 2017. Seth then proceeded to law school at University of South Carolina, obtaining his J.D. in 2020.
For his first year as an attorney, Seth clerked for the Honorable Alex Kinlaw, Jr. Following his judicial clerkship, Seth started trying cases as a Public Defender for the 14th Circuit in SC (where he clerked during law school). Over the past 2 ½ years, Seth has excelled in the Courtroom, including as first chair in a murder trial (while at the same time, managing over 400 cases simultaneously).
Seth married his high school sweetheart, Jessica, and they have a 1 ½-year old daughter. Many of you already met Seth at the recent RAM in Charleston. Seth is an avid UGA fan, knows the local waters / fishing / hunting, and can appreciate a good bourbon or scotch and a cigar. Some may call him a true low country person, and brings strong ties to the firm (especially from the Beaufort area).
