Biography Overview
J. Chad Capers was born in Columbus, Georgia and raised in Warner Robins, Georgia. He attended Valdosta State University where he received his Bachelors of Business Administration in International Business and a Minor in Music. Chad received his Juris Doctor from Mercer University School of Law. While attending Mercer Law, Chad was the President of Mercer's Black Law Student Association, Southern Regional Chair of the National Black Law Students Association, and President of the Mercer Advocacy Council. Chad was a Regional Champion of the National Moot Court Competition, inducted into Phi Delta Phi, inducted into the Order of Barristers, and a recipient of the Walker P. Johnson, Jr. Memorial Award.
During law school, Chad interned at the Georgia Court of Appeals and became interested in personal injury during his other internships at others law firms.
When Chad is not working, you can catch him enjoying a live concert or traveling the world with his loved ones.
