Biography Overview
Josh Walters was born in Austin, Texas and raised in Melbourne, Florida. He graduated from the University of Florida in 2013 and went on to complete his law degree at the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2018, making him a “Double Gator." While in law school, Josh competed on a national moot court team, sat on various boards including UF Law's Journal of Technology Law and Policy, studied abroad at Goethe University in Frankfort, Germany, and was a teaching assistant for trial practice.
Immediately after completing law school, Josh began working for an insurance coverage and business litigation boutique law firm in Jacksonville, Florida. In 2019, Josh relocated to Tallahassee, Florida, and worked his way up to become a partner at a well-established commercial litigation and real estate transactions firm. Josh brings this extensive litigation experience to Morgan & Morgan to strongly advocate for those who have been wrongfully injured.
Josh is licensed to practice in all Florida state and federal courts. He is an active member of the Tallahassee Bar Association, Leadership Tallahassee, William H. Stafford Inn of Court, Economic Club of Florida, and Tallahassee Soccer Association.
In his spare time, Josh enjoys playing soccer, traveling, and attending Florida Gator football games.
