Biography Overview
Mr. Minchin was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and returned home to the Florida Panhandle in 2009 to continue his legal career after six years representing defendants in Mississippi and Alabama. Before joining Morgan & Morgan, Mr. Minchin was a Partner in the Pensacola, Florida and Mobile, Alabama offices of a regional, civil defense litigation firm, defending individuals, corporations and national insurance companies in claims asserting personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, products liability, trucking negligence, construction defect, and breach of contract. He now puts his years of experience to work for his clients in personal injury and wrongful death cases.
Mr. Minchin graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Real Estate and Marketing and obtained his law degree from Samford University's Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama. While at Cumberland, Mr. Minchin was an editor of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy. He also earned an M.B.A. from the Brock School of Business while attending law school. Mr. Minchin is admitted to practice in Florida, Alabama and Mississippi
Mr. Minchin and his wife are the proud parents of three daughters who he is sure will grow up to be proud Florida Gator fans despite their mother's Crimson Tide influence.
