Biography Overview
Gianna Cetrangelo was born and raised in Southwest Florida. Gianna graduated magna cum laude from the University of South Florida with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in International Studies.
In 2024, Gianna graduated magna cum laude from Florida International University’s College of Law. She was named on the Dean’s List for every semester of her legal education and was awarded the Dean's Scholarship. Additionally, she was received the Ladies in the Courtroom Scholarship by the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates (“ABOTA”) and the Broward County Hispanic Bar Association. Gianna also earned two CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for earning the highest grades in her Employment Discrimination course and seminar.
During her time at FIU Law, Gianna was a competing Board Member of the Board of Appellate Advocate. She was a championship finalist of the 20th Annual Intramural Moot Court Competition hosted by FIU Law and Quarterfinalist of the Robert Orseck Memorial Moot Court Competition, hosted annually by the Florida Bar. Gianna also served as Vice President of Internal Relations for the Women’s Law Society and was a peer mentor to incoming law students.
In addition to her extracurricular achievements, Gianna worked as a Teaching Assistant for the Legal Skills & Values research and writing course, and as a Research Assistant for the Professional Responsibility course at FIU Law. She also completed a judicial internship with the Honorable Bronwyn C. Miller at the Third District Court of Appeal, furthering her legal research and writing skills.
