Growing up in Fruitland Park, just outside Leesburg in Central Florida, Mr. Sopotnick developed a strong connection to his community from an early age. His educational journey began with a Bright Futures Scholarship that he earned upon graduating from Leesburg High School in 1998. He furthered his academic pursuits at the prestigious University of Florida, where he graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor's in Science Degree, laying a solid foundation for his future legal career.

Following his undergraduate studies, Mr. Sopotnick worked part-time at a personal injury firm in Gainesville, Florida, where he honed his legal skills and developed a passion for advocating on behalf of injured individuals. This experience sparked his decision to pursue a legal education, leading him to graduate Cum Laude from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2007. Since then, Mr. Sopotnick has focused his practice on workers' compensation law, amassing over a decade of experience in representing clients in this specialized area. His track record includes successfully trying numerous workers' compensation trials, serving as first chair in multiple jury trials, and effectively navigating various cases to resolution, showcasing his comprehensive expertise and dedication to achieving favorable outcomes for his clients. Additionally, Mr. Sopotnick is a Member of the Robert E. Williams Inns of Court, further highlighting his commitment to excellence and professionalism in the legal field.
