Biography Overview
Ben Adams has represented injured people across the country since graduating from law school in 2010. Since that time, Ben has gained a reputation amongst the bench and bar for his fair and effective representation of clients. In fact, Ben is AV-Preeminent Peer Rated by Martindale-Hubbell, which signifies that a large number of his peers rank him at the highest level of professional excellence for his legal knowledge and experience, analytical capability, judgment, communications, and ethical standards. Beginning in 2016, Ben has been named to the West Virginia Rising Stars list the practice area of Personal Injury litigation.
Ben primarily works in the area of personal and catastrophic injuries but has extensive experience working on complex environmental contamination cases, toxic torts, products liability cases, and medical negligence cases.
In 2018, Ben was elected to Charleston City Council as an at-large member, where he served a four-year term. Since 2022 Ben has served as the duly elected City Treasurer for the City of Charleston, West Virginia. He also serves on the West Side Board of Advisors for Charleston Urban Works, an economic and community development non-profit focused on the perpetual revitalization of the city's East End and West Side, is a member of the board of FestivALL, and serves on the board of several other local non-profits. Ben is a native of Charleston and resides there with his wife and children.
